Rosemary Hughes is passionate about empowering people with the necessary skills to communicate effectively through language. Rosemary strongly believes in the power of literacy as a life-skill and therefore each individual's right to develop literacy skills to their fullest potential. Rosemary advocates for individuals with dyslexia and language learning disabilities and believes in each person's capacity to learn and succeed.
An active member of the Mirboo North community, Rosemary has served in a number of volunteer roles, and as a mother of three adult boys understands the joys and trials of parenthood. She enjoys walking her dogs in the nearby bush and trying to tame her garden. If you attend the home clinic you are likely to meet the boisterous but friendly pair.
Rosemary offers speech pathology and specialised literacy intervention within the South Gippsland region. Appointments are available in her Mirboo North clinic and off-site at primary and secondary schools in Mirboo North and Leongatha. Rosemary combines experience from many years of teaching with her Master of Speech Pathology and Master of Educational Leadership (Literacy) to offer a range of evidence-based therapies. This provides a skill set that crosses the boundaries between the education and speech pathology domains. Rosemary's understanding of the education system enables her to be an excellent advocate for you and your child.
Please contact Rosemary at Comprehensive Literacy and Speech, if you or your child needs speech pathology or specialist literacy intervention.
